What it is
Mazdutide is a long-acting dual-agonist peptide that activates GLP-1 and glucagon receptors. By promoting satiety, curbing appetite, and helping regulate food intake, it supports a maintainable calorie deficit. Glucagon agonism may also raise energy expenditure and fat oxidation, encouraging steady fat reduction while preserving lean mass when paired with appropriate training and nutrition.
Mechanism of action
Engineered peptide activating both GLP-1 receptors (insulin secretion, gastric emptying delay, central appetite suppression) and glucagon receptors (hepatic glucose handling, lipolysis, increased energy expenditure).
Half-life: ~6 days โ supports once-weekly dosing.
