Updated April 28, 2026
Primary Benefits:
- Enhances cognitive performance and memory retention
- Provides neuroprotection and supports brain repair mechanisms
- Improves attention, focus, and mental clarity
- May increase motivation and stress resilience
Mechanism of Action:
Semax is a synthetic peptide derived from adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH 4–10), modified to avoid hormonal effects while enhancing cognitive and neuroprotective outcomes. It promotes brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) expression and supports neurotransmitter balance (dopamine, serotonin), aiding learning, memory, and mental endurance. It may also reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the central nervous system.
