Peptides are shipped as a freeze-dried powder (also called lyophilized) to preserve their purity, stability and effectiveness. This powder must be reconstituted using bacteriostatic water before injection.

- Always follow proper sterile handling procedures.
- Store unused dry/lyophilized peptides in the freezer after arrival for best stability. They can tolerate short shipping windows at room temperature, but should not be left at room temperature for routine storage.
- Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, peptides should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 45 days unless the product label or protocol says otherwise.
